How to Build a Website ( Without Losing Your Mind)
- “Proof that drag-and-drop doesn’t always mean stress-free.”

So, I thought building a website with one of those “easy drag-and-drop template builders” would be a breeze. I mean, how hard could it be? They literally advertise “No coding required!” Well… fast-forward a few hours, and I’m questioning all my life choices.
First, I upload a few pictures. On my desktop, they look beautiful. Crisp, centered, professional. Then I check on my phone—nope. Half the images vanished like they’d entered witness protection. Others decided to resize themselves into weird little postage stamps.
Naturally, I reached out for help. Big mistake. Apparently, the only “people” available these days are chatbots with suspiciously chipper personalities. “Hi there! I’m Pixel, your friendly support assistant!” Pixel gave me links to articles that almost answered my question—if my problem had been about literally anything else.
Meanwhile, I’m in a standoff with my website, clicking “publish” over and over, hoping the images would stick this time. Spoiler: they didn’t.
But here’s the thing—I survived. And eventually, with a lot of trial and error (and maybe some muttered words I won’t repeat here), I ended up with a working site.
Moral of the story? Website builders may promise “effortless design,” but patience, persistence, and maybe a little humor are the real tools you’ll need. And when all else fails… just remember: if your images aren’t showing up, it’s probably not you—it’s them.
